After the conclusion of the 15th BRICS summit, the five-nation coalition, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, cordially extended an invitation to Argentina, welcoming them into this esteemed group, alongside five other nations.
Hugo Javier Gobbi, the Argentine Ambassador to India, expressed his admiration for India's pivotal role in the expansion of BRICS, emphasizing that the inclusion of his country within the group wouldn't have been possible without India's unwavering support.
Keeping this in side, according to the foreign ministry, the relationship between India and Argentina is comprehensive. This includes political relations, economic cooperation, scientific and technological partnerships also with antarctic research and cultural cooperation.

India moves forward to welcome the forthcoming G20 summit of world leaders, set to take place within the newly unveiled India Pavilion situated in New Delhi on September 9-10. This G20 is going to be special as India holds the leadership this year. The presence of leaders of many big countries will add charm to the event.
Immersive groundwork and meticulous planning have been meticulously laid out, driven by the aspiration to illuminate India's cultural imprint on the world stage and to accentuate its modern identity on the global arena throughout the duration of the summit.
The 18th G20 summit is the climax of a year-long series of G20 procedures and discussions involving ministers, senior officials, and civil organisations.
In December of last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared, "Our G20 priorities will be defined not only by our G20 partners, but also through consultations with our fellow travellers in the Global South, whose voices are often unheard."
